Rick Nelson
CEO
Rick Nelson currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Scalable Software. He has over 25 years experience in the software industry, primarily in the areas of enterprise software and SaaS based software companies. Rick has held positions of CEO, CFO, General Counsel, and VP Corporate Development, at various public and private software companies, as well as an auditor and legal counsel. He has extensive background in mergers, acquisitions, and investments in software companies. Rick received his B.S. Accounting from Bentley University and his J.D. from the University of Iowa.
Mark Cresswell
Co-Founder & Executive Chairman
Mark Cresswell is Executive Chairman of Scalable and co-founded the company in 2008 with his business partner Nick Youell. He currently has specific responsibility for the product and marketing strategy of Scalable.
His also a member of the board of LzLabs, a private software company specializing in the modernization of mainframe applications, via its Software Defined Mainframe solution.
Prior to his position at Scalable, Mark served as CEO of NEON Systems, Inc. which specialized in mainframe integration software, and he was also managing director of Framesoft, a private Swiss company that developed solutions for the investment banking market.
Nick Youell
Co-Founder, EVP Products
Nick Youell is responsible for product development and delivery for all Scalable Software product lines, and provides leadership for product strategy, product roadmaps, and agile development. Mr. Youell brings more than 20 years of technical, management, and executive experience in technology and software to Scalable Software. He previously held positions as EMEA Regional Business Manager at Altiris and EMEA Business Director for Tonic Software.
Stephen Kerner
VP, Sales
Stephen leads and manages the global revenue team including the pre-sales, business development, sales and account management functions. He is also responsible for the strategic direction over the unified go-to-market strategy across the United Kingdom and North America regions.
Stephen brings 10 years of industry experience within B2B software sales, including previous roles driving enterprise revenue growth at WeWork and Bloomberg. Stephen is also a licensed attorney in New York State, with 2 years prior experience practicing in the field of labor and employment law. This background in labor relations litigation and human resource counseling informs his consultative sales approach and digital employee experience (DEX) software expertise.
Pete Summers
VP, Marketing
Pete Summers has extensive marketing experience in the IT sector having held senior positions in several enterprise software companies over the past 25 years. Prior to joining Scalable he enjoyed success at Compuware, a leader in application development and performance management solutions, where he was responsible for defining the strategic direction and execution of EMEA marketing programs and partner development. He was most recently CMO at Hornbill, a provider of SaaS based service management solutions.
Simon Croyden
Director of Solutions Consultancy
In his 25 years working in technology, Simon Croyden built significant experience through managing operational IT for high growth, acquisitive tech companies before turning that expertise towards working with major enterprise organizations delivering ITAM and Asset Intelligence solutions that optimize entire IT estates; including cloud, hybrid cloud and mobile as well as extensive end user compute environments. In recent years, he has been responsible for modernizing and managing Scalable’s consultancy teams, and in late 2019 assumed responsibility for managing all customer facing technical operations.
Lou Meyer
Controller
Lou is responsible for managing the company’s financial operations including all aspects of accounting, tax, treasury, budgeting, and financial planning. He brings over 20 years of financial leadership experience spanning across multiple industries. Prior to Scalable, Lou was the VP of Finance at Business Ink, Co. During his nine-year tenure Business Ink experienced significant growth which resulted in the company being acquired in 2018 by CSG Systems International (Nasdaq: SCGS). He has held other finance positions with companies including Motorola and IntelliQuest Information Group. He has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Texas-Austin and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
